The Titan Krios is our state-of-the-art electron microscope. It was built and tested in Europe before being disassembled and shipped here to sunny Southern California, where a team of FEI engineers reassembled it right in our laboratory.

Here are a few pictures from the buildup of the Titan Krios microscope.

The space that was originally planned for the microscope was not tall enough, so we had to scoop out a bit of the floor and raise the ceiling.
